By public transport, option 1: RER B to Massy-Palaiseau, then bus 91-06 from "Gare de Massy-Palaiseau" (need a ticket t+) to "Place Marguerite Perey" and follow Avenue Augustin Fresnel and rue Urbain le Verrier. When you see a parking and a lake, the entrance of CMLS is on your right (Batîment 6|28).

By public transport, option 2: RER B to the Lozère stop, then a good 15/20 minute walk including fairly steep stairs. The A->B route to reach the CMLS is indicated on this link, with the CMLS entrance indicated by the pointer.

By car: park in the Cour des Ceremonies parking lot (pointer next to the lake on the link below), right next to the CMLS.

Access to CMLS: The CMLS is signposted on the general map of the École Polytechnique campus and in sky blue (building 6) on the laboratory map.

To come to CMLS from

- hotel d'Orsay, go to the bus stop at "Gare du Guichet", take the 91-06 bus until "Place Marguerite Perey" stop (direction Massy-Palaiseau RER B) for about 18 minutes.

- Ormaille, take the rer B (direction Paris) at Bures-sur-Yvette, stop at "le Guichet", then take the 91-06 bus as above.

Alternatively, one may just take RER B until "Lozère" and hike 90m up for 20 minutes.

- From Palaiseau, go to the bus stop at "Palaiseau Ville" (direction ORSAY Gare du Guichet or SACLAY Christ de Saclay).
